I'm getting it.
Got it a couple of days ago in Forbidden Planet NYC.
Heres my mini-review that I wrote on the other forum
Package: Just what you see in other Player Select line. Clamshell and all.
Sculpt: Once you take out of the package, you can fix his dreadlocks a bit since it is squished from the packaging. Pretty nice details all around as always by NECA. The texture of the pants, belts. Something pretty tooooo detailed rather is the armpit hair area. The metal arm is a thing of beauty with various hoses, and looks really complex. And there is a hidden surprise as noted later on

Articulation: I didnt check but I will take their word for it. DCUC like leg articulation in short. Waist joint. One small complaint is indeed that bicep cut but then..
I am still gonna say it, the metal arm is the star of the show. Each five digits has I would say three POAs. The wrist turns from a cut, and the elbow as well. Shoulder moves up and down and sideways just like most Player Select lines. The hip joints took quite a bit of force to budge, so do watch out for that.

Action Feature: Here come the main selling point of this baby:
When I first remove RAD out of the package his claw fell off. I was scared sh**less. Upon further inspection. HIS CLAWS IS ATTACHED TO A ROPE. YOU CAN FAITHFULLY RECREATE HIS BEST KNOWN FEATURE, HIS EXTENDABLE CLAW!!! (Its right there in the package, you moron!)
The rope extends to as the box said 12 inches. It works by you uncranking the thumb claw as seen below. Pretty nifty surprised for me
Paint: Mine was perfect. Much better than the abomination that was Castlevania (which totally ruined their great sculpt). If anything, watch out for bad face on the upper lip that would make him look like a monkeyface.
Conclusion: Let's be honest, the original Bionic Commando was a little before my time, but this figure is just too awesome to pass. I wanted to find the Ryu Hayabusa but instead found this. This figure is awesome in a way completely different from the super-articulated NG Ryu. The surprise feature took me off-guard and shows NECA really wants to emphasize what made this character special and appealing in the first place. When done right, even an action figure can be a selling point for adult-oriented figures.
How much is this?I would guess it's in the same ballpark as NECA's Gears of War figures which is between $12-16 depending on where you buy them. $12ish at places like Toys R Us and $16ish at places like Spencer's.
Thanks man. I'll try to get it at TRU, but if all else fails there are 2 spencers near me.

I like the design but am weary of the price it'll surely garner.
I love action figures based on video game characters but this character looks lame. He's been flamed ever since his first preview. The only thing that caught my interest is that the grappling hook extends 12". Too bad there are no pictures of that...? I'd like to see a pic of that if anyone knows of a site showing one.

not really digging his overall design, and that man arm that looks like he has the joint like the simon belmont figure had is ehhh... but on the plus side i like the idea that the cable comes out and is 12 inches long.. thats just badass.
Might have to get this.
And he seems to come with authentic non-bending elbow! Yay!
