This makes me appreciate the new designs so much. I loved these growing up, but the new series has just as much soul and personality. And the designs to follow! I'd love it if they got to making those too

I'm with you on that, I loves me some Darkwing Duck.

I would support (likely from the sidelines due to cost) a whole Disney Afternoon line form Neca. Rescue Rangers would be great, Darkwing, Gummi Bears...

Beagle Boys are an absolute must - I say do a two-pack with interchangeable heads and numbers since nobody should be stuck with just one Beagle Boy. Webby likewise needs to be done, as does Glomgold and Magica - a line needs it's villains. I just hope we don't get Gargoyled on this line - cover the bare basics and then get left hanging on the extended coolness the line has to offer.

Without Doofus how would we know what is in the Junior Woodchuck Guidebook?
Webby and The Beagle Boys are a must.
The buzz at Toy Fair 2026 this year wasnt just about dinosaurs and superheroes collectors and fans of classic animated adventure got a major surprise from NECA with the official debut of the DuckTales Ultimates Series 1 figures. For decades, DuckTales has been a touchstone of animated fun, and now fans can finally bring some of Duckburgs greatest heroes (and hopefully someday villains) into premium action figure form.On display in NECAs Toy Fair booth were three distinct figure pairings that will launch before the end of 2026: Scrooge McDuck with Dewey The richest duck in the world and his ever-optimistic middle triplet. Gizmoduck with Huey Duckburgs armored guardian paired with the no-nonsense eldest triplet. Launchpad McQuack with Louie The accident-prone pilot alongside the most laid-back of the duck triplets. Each figure pair reflects the heartfelt charm and adventurous energy that DuckTales embodies. Scrooges iconic top hat, Deweys adventurous grin, Gizmoducks gleaming armor, and Launchpads trademark flight jacket were all on full display. From first looks in the prototype showcase, collectors left excited at seeing these characters realized with detailed sculpting, dynamic articulation, and accessories that feel perfectly DuckTales-appropriate.This initial wave represents a promising start for what could be an expansive new line for one of Disneys most enduring animated franchises and fans are already dreaming about who could come next.My Top 10 Most Wanted DuckTales FiguresWhile Series 1 lays the groundwork with beloved heroes, the DuckTales universe is packed with unforgettable characters that collectors are eager to see translated into Ultimates form. Based on fan conversation, personal preference, and sheer iconic value, heres the Top 10 Most Wanted DuckTales figures fans want to see next:1. Mrs. Beakley
Grizzled, stern, wise Mrs. Beakley is the unsung backbone of the McDuck household. Adventure-ready and no nonsense, shes a perfect candidate for a premium figure with alternate expressions or accessories like her cane or shotgun.
2. Webby Vanderquack
Brave, clever, and eternally curious, Webby has become a fan favorite. From wielding gadgets to leading missions of her own, a Webby figure could come with tons of swappable gear.
3. Duckworth
Scrooges loyal butler and occasional comic relief, Duckworth brings heart to Duckburg Manor. A figure with alternate poses and accessories like tea or a platter of sandwiches would be a delightful touch.
4. The Beagle Boys
No rogues gallery is complete without the bumbling but persistent Beagle Boys. A pack of them with interchangeable heads and prison attire would be a must-have for any collector.
5. Magica De Spell
One of Scrooges most formidable enemies, Magica brings magic, mischief, and mayhem. With spell effects and mystical accessories, her figure could easily be a show-stealer.
6. Flintheart Glomgold
Scrooges perennial rival for the title of Worlds Richest Duck, Glomgold is equal parts pompous and perilous. A figure in his signature suit with a cane (and maybe a golf club) would be a fun addition.
7. Gyro Gearloose
Duckburgs eccentric inventor is a natural fit for the Ultimates line. With gadgets and inventions for accessories, Gyro could bring a lot of play options to the shelf.
8. Bubba the Caveduck
From the prehistoric antics of DuckTales episodes like Time Teasers, Bubba the Caveduck is a cult favorite. A character with elemental prehistoric flair would diversify the line nicely.
9. Doofus Drake
Lovable in his own clueless way, Doofus Drake is an opportunity for a humorous, character-driven figure. Expression parts and goofy accessories would bring the fun.
10. Donald Duck
One of Disneys most iconic characters and the sometimes reluctant uncle to Huey, Dewey, and Louie Donalds inclusion would complete the core familial cast. A classic sailor outfit with expressive head swaps would be spectacular.Whats Next for the DuckTales Line?NECAs DuckTales Ultimates Series 1 proves theres real appetite for premium figures based on stories and characters that shaped many childhoods. With such a rich cast and decades of source material to pull from, the lines potential is enormous from villains like Ma Beagle and Steelbeak, to heroes like Darkwing Duck.Collectors will be watching closely for preorder announcements and additional reveals as 2026 unfolds. If the Series 1 showings are any indication, fans can expect both nostalgia and fresh excitement as DuckTales marches into the modern collectible era.*images via robdtoys
