McFarlane Toys NHL Series 32 Walmart Canada Exclusives

Just in case you didn’t get enough hockey with NHL Series 32, McFarlane Toys is turning back the clock and commemorating the best goal scoring seasons of two of the preeminent players in the NHL. These two additional NHL exclusives are only available at Wal-Mart Canada.

In 1992, in his rookie season, Teemu Selanne burst onto the NHL scene by scoring 76 goals, and forever cemented his name in NHL lore. That season he won the Calder Trophy as the league’s top rookie, and his total of 76 goals still stands to this day as the greatest goal scoring season for a rookie in NHL history. Selanne’s figure can be seen in his white Winnipeg Jets uniform from that unforgettable 1992-1993 season. Included with the figure is a replica puck commemorating this accomplishment.

Sidney Crosby was tagged with the nickname “The Next One” for a reason. Coming out of Juniors, he was regarded as one of the best hockey prospects in the history of the NHL. Selected first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins, Crosby has certainly not disappointed. He has won the Hart Trophy, the Art Ross Trophy, and most importantly, he won a Stanley Cup for the Pittsburgh Penguins, becoming the youngest Captain to win the Cup. This figure celebrates the 2009-2010 season of Crosby where he tallied the highest number of goals in a single season for his career (51). Crosby is wearing the black home uniform and included is a replica puck commemorating the season and event.
