Yeah its kinda weird, but thats just Todds way of doing fists. Its surely odd, but imma still get him ofc
What's up with Hawkman's little baby left hand? Other than that, I really like the figure.
This figure looks really good to me. Like, this is what McFarlane should use to show what's possible
Hawkman's design, in general, is one of those designs where pretty much just about every figure, statue made of the character is gonna look badass regardless. This looks pretty good, aside from the under scaled fist.
Also, lmfao at Todd misreading the room with Collector's Edition and thinking people would want to pay $10 more for essentially a card stand and a fancy title.
Hawkman is one of my top heroes of all time.

I feel like a calling his short-lived mid-90s look that was only held for about 2 years "classic" is a hard argument to make, when 95% of his appearances follows a pretty standard green pants, red boots, non-mismatched-hands look. About the only thing McFarlane got right here is the chest. The head's OK, but that hair is clearly going to limit the ability to tilt the head up (but of course, it's not like anyone would ever want to pose a flying character in a way where the neck would be craned up or anything, that's just crazy talk!) and now that we're getting a few extra pictures, yeah, that hand is definitely undersized. This is a poor effort in my view, so I'll wait for the next one.
I'm really liking the Black Lightning and Hawkman figures. I'm a sucker for Hawkman (and Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman!), I always buy every version of him I feel like. I guess that way I end up with a lot of Thanagarian warriors. Even the DCvV Green Lantern looks really good! I'm tired of Walmart exclusives though - they suck. I still haven't found DCvV Superman but I've been seeing lots of Captain Atom recently.

That's going to change, although it might take a wave or two to kick in. Supposedly, he heard the moans of how collector's want extra hands and accessories and not fancier cards and a card stand. I love how they paint the DC in on the figure stand with these. Very collector edition of him. All jokes aside, I think he heard our cries and is working on it. We shall see. At least the character style seem to be leaning more classic in appearance or are in the ballpark since he started doing these.

In the meantime, this guy's looking pretty good.
Knowing Todd, Im sure classic colors will be a gold label Target exclusive.
Anyway, the figure looks great. I cant wait to get one in hand.
The truth is that I expected something better from the character, the DC Universe Classics is something that resembles what I expected, but the wings, the colors, it doesn't resemble anything like even Thanagar's Hawkman. Too bad he moved away from what one expects from the classic character to one that makes no sense, long hair, a simple axe, an almost jeans pants and the same as Black Adam's Hawkman, simple wings. I'm sorry I'm a bit respectful of classic super heroes and this one is really unfocused on what a fan expects.
