Has nothing to do with Todd working on Batman decades ago and everything to do with anything and everything Batman-related sells and DC/WB over reliance on the character for pretty much everything.

looks cool
I know there are people who will buy anything of their favorite character, no matter what. But how are there enough of those people to make it worth it for McFarlane (and the companies putting these forward as exclusives) to make/sell these off-the-wall variants?
I don't get it, this figure is a peg warmer and can in some instances be had for a discount. Maybe the glow paint will make a difference to some.
I think the only interesting thing for me at this point with these releases is trying to guess which pegwarmers McFarlane will buy back, retool and regurgitate back at us at a higher price point. Keep your peepers peeled for the 3rd release of Blight, now with glow-in-the-dark head!
Always felt you get more bang for your buck with the GITD gimmick when most of the figure glows, imo.
These crazy variants continue to get out of hand. I'm so glad that I'm not a completionist for this line. Yowzers. At least we're starting to see some consistent themes across the store exclusives with Amazon being the place for the Glow in the Dark Stuff, Walmart for the DC vs Vampires, Target for the Jokerized stuff, etc....
