It's a good figure, the pics looks amazing, a great way to do the autograph series.

I'll admit that Mattel wasn't where Hasbro was with ML but I'd take this over anything McFarlane is putting out right now. The Horsemen were much better at designing a figure than anyone Todd has, and many of the early DC figures he put out were horrible. The BAF Bane had to be glued together, and don't get me started on the diaper crotches. I haven't been paying much attention to the line lately but from what I see on shelves I'm not impressed.

If you would take this over McFarlane, then you haven't seen DC Universe in hand.

I can never lament that Mattel lost the license. Not when they were making stuff like this.

Their Batwoman and Knightfall Catwoman figures were ok toward the end.

But Mattel just isn't up to par with modern figures. Masterverse's quality shows that even now. That said, I don't love McFarlane's stuff either.

Yeah Batwoman was very nice, the unmasked head was a bit kid toy looking but, it was a nice figure, see that's what I'm saying they were starting to make pretty good figures, sad thing was it was near the tail end of their time, it took them way too long to figure it out, which was likely the problem, too little too late, sure some of McFartlands stuff is cool, but most is just all over the place and I'm just not a big fan of the scale, Mattel was at least giving more variety in characters and more classic looks, this is why I miss them, this new stuff is just wackadoozle most of the time and overrun with the same characters 4 billion times over and re-paints.

that's just my view. I don't really collect DC stuff, probably buy like 4 DC figures a year, if that.

that being said I love Farlands new Fire figure that was an instant pre-order, and I recently bought Donna Troy and Raven.

Sure but that was wayyy before Multiverse, that's a Universe Classics and was so way back, I was just saying that Mattel was actually starting to do some really nice figures near the end of the Multiverse line.

like that's a pretty sweet fig, IMO.

I still think the Mattel Multiverse Starfire is better, like much better, it almost has an Import quality to it, it had really cool elements like clearish hair, Mattel was really getting a hang of making new DC figures by the end and were at some points on Hasbro's Legends level, it really was too bad they lost the license.
