It's not a face plate. It's a head. The hair is removable. I have pics above showing the hair can go on the other recent Supergirl figures.
The main problem with Milly Alcock figures is that the neck is too wide and the arms are really skinny, making them seem too long.
For those curious, I'm attaching pics below of how I ended up. My two favorite Supergirls are First Appearance wearing Milly Alcock's hair and Benoit's hair. The Benoit hair is a better sculpt and the Alcock is a better blonde. Both are better than the yellow crayola hair First Appearance comes with.

Somehow her feet don't look so clownishly huge in your shots, either. Is it just the angle or are they truly not as bad in person (cheapy painted on boot tops notwithstanding)? Great kit-bash!!
The feet aren't great, but they really aren't any uglier than the various Batgirl feet.

It's First Appearance Supergirl with Benoit's hair. I was hoping it could be swapped and it can.
For those hoping to see what Benoit actually looks like, you'll need to look elsewhere. It is not easy to get that hair on FA Supergirl and I'm not taking it off. When my other two arrive from Walmart shortly I will try another custom - FA Supergirl's head on the Benoit Body with FA Supergirl's hands (I hate the weird half gloves or whatever Benoit seems to have).
Based on my other Supergirls, I think the ideal Supergirl is going to be some Frankenstein Supergirl combination of FA head, Benoit hair, Benoit Torso and arms, Benoit skirt, and Alcock legs.
Or, um, McFarlane could have not used the all red legs on Rebirth Supergirl or Benoit.

So I got more Supergirls today, including the Deluxe Theatrical Milly Alcock Supergirl. I will say that the face on this figure isn't as bad in person as it was in some promo shots. The figure still isn't great (the neck is NFL linebacker thick, which contributes to her looking off), but it does have a long wired cape and actual molded Supergirl boots (which three Supergirl figures do not have - Benoit, Rebirth, and First Appearance).
What's interesting, and disconcerting to my plans to building an actually good Supergirl, is that Alcock also has removable hair. And it's a much better shade of blonde than Benoit. So this has made me rethink an "ideal" Supergirl. FA Supergirl's skin tone doesn't match Benoit's body (which, in my opinion, is the best torso and skirt mold of all the McFarlanes). This is a disappointment. But I'm thinking that FA Supergirl would look even better with Alcock's hair than she does with Benoit's.
Anyway, here are more pics as I ruminate what to do. This is Alcock and the Benoit (angry face) with Alcock's hair. I'm sure everyone is as riveted by these marginally improved builds as I am so I will post more pics when I decide how to mix and match these parts. Removable hair is a great idea by McFarlane, but it would work better if he kept his skin tones more consistent.

The entire Multiverse has been a very mixed bag, but you know I have to respect Todd's hustle. It's very rare for a company crank out so many figures in a short span of time and especially for someone like me who is very selective collector, it's easy to pass on the majority of them. I am also aware that certain bangers have the potential to sneak up at any time so I always have to check in when a new batch is announced. I will miss that for the DC crew, which was really hurting since DCU Classics in terms of the excitement for each new reveal.
Not overly thrilled that the new Box-Office-brained Mattel is going to be taking over soon, but who knows? Maybe they can bring in the former fourth Horseman/Diamond Select designer Chris Dahlberg...
And I am happy to designate OMAC as the most anticipated (by me) this round!

Ah, gotcha. My bad! But I still kinda think he just prioritized anything with spikes and blades?

I should have been clearer. It was less CHARACTERS that Mattel didn't do and more COSTUMES/LOOKS. So we got a Hellbat Batman, Armored Superman, Batman Who Laughs junk, Zombie stuff, and just all kind of weird things. Looking through the wave pictures is kind of funny. The first McFarlane I bought, I think, was animated Batman and then I didn't buy any until Batwoman Beyond. The line was just bizarre before that.
