I don't think that it necessarily means they are currently doing well or didn't flop, just because they have been releasing a fair amount of figures since the line started again, because generally you enter a contractual agreement, but also that most companies put the plans and tooling together for things, packaging, promotions, exclusives, alotments sold to big box stores etc, doing all this,,figures for this matter about a year in advance, so if there were these tools laying around and obligations, also numbers don't really get crunched to the point of understanding a failutre on a grand scale like this until after a Quarter or a full year, I mean makes sense right? I mean it isn't like most companies just dead full stop realasing things, it fazes out.

Sure Hasbro's cost a lot, and licensing fees were probably really high, and Hasbro did fail, but they didn't just instantly pull the plug either , we just didn't care enough to pay attention, and they just didn't bother with anything, likely they had a ton of stuff they were going to put out...And they were not done with the tooling...Poor Basketball '97 Gambit got a nice lil Basketball player bod

Anyways it's not like I don't want this to be a success for Todd, I want it, I don't wish ill, why would I care, if people want sports people figures awesome, but I just can't imagine these are really raking it in.

I just truly can't fathom this line being a big money maker, nor going on much further then past a full calender year or two, I would think paying for players likeness rights and license fees would be pretty high.

Is Champs sports selling these figures as well?

These NFL figures do not look good. They are basic and for $23 not horrible. But they are not good.

Im a Chiefs fan since childhood and Patrick Mahomes is incredible. But this figure looks nothing like him. Generic, reused body. Generic, reused face under the helmet. Insultingly simple paint.

And do we really need to keep using those horrible pinned joints?! Come on Todd! Squeeze a few pennies out of your wallet to invest in better articulation. Ill forgive the wonky limb length and even the paint if you would just ditch those worn out joints.

Any way, I was going to order Mahomes with the hope for a Kelce to pair him with down the road. But these just dont look good enough to get my money. If I see them in stores and they look better, maybe. But Ive been burned by Todd before (those cheap overpriced block figures with NO paint, all stickers).
