Gaming Heads Presents God of War Life-size Kratos Bust‏

January 22nd 2014: Last year, amongst many other product launches, we at Gaming Heads were pleased to announce a deal with Sony Computer Entertainment to produce a range of statues based on various Playstation licenses. After that range proved to be a success, we are now very excited to introduce to you the God of War range, starting with a life-size bust of Kratos.

The God of War series is based upon Greek mythology, following a demigod Spartan warrior by the name of Kratos as he seeks revenge against the Olympian Gods after he was tricked into murdering his family. Kratos eventually assumes the title of God of War for himself and so it's very fitting for a character of such stature to immortalized in life-size form. Fans are sure to agree, as the entire series has sold more than a combined 21 million units to date making it one of the best selling franchises of the past decade.

This bust of God of War’s Kratos has been realized by a new artist at Gaming Heads: Diego D. Gonzalez. The impressive bust is perched upon a Greek styled column that serves as a base for supporting the piece. The bust of Kratos himself is completely cast in polystone resin, and completely finished and detailed by hand. At a towering 28 inches tall from the bottom of the pedestal to the crown of his head, Kratos is the largest pieces we've made to date.
