Mega Man Legends 4Inch-Nel Roll Caskett From Sentinel

by Jay Cochran
August 6, 2018
Roll Caskett from "Mega Man Legends" (known as "Rockman Dash" in Japan) joins the 4 Inch-Nel figure series from Sentinel! Carefully sculpted to accurately represent her appearance in the game, she's about 10cm tall, and is highly poseable for maximum action; she comes with an additional interchangeable smiling face, interchangeable hands (a flat pair of hands, a fisted pair of hands, and a spare left hand holding a wrench), and a base with a posing arm for display. You can pre-order this figure now at BigBadToyStore.com.

Its not any better than SHF, one could agrue quality wise they are about equal but this being a 4in figure and only includes 2 sets of hands, an extra righ hand with a ratchet on it, 2 faceplates and the same base they include with every figure they make, even the lowered price of $69.99 is too high.I dont know if her hat is removable but it doesnt look like it, and it seemslike they didn't even include a set of hairs to have her without her hatlike they did with Rock (he came with the pieces for the helmet and an extra set of hairs to have the figure posed without the helmet), I dont know what she could have come with, maybe Data (themonkey, thats always with her)or a Servbot, a third faceplateand a couple other accesory tools to justify the price. As it is I dont thinkit's a figure worth buying (at least not untill it's on clearance later on)

Yeah I was kind of looking foward to her at first but after everything thats been said about her price and lack of accessories I agree shes not worth it.

This is exacly what would have made this figure more desirable with what we're getting its hard to justify it no matter how good the quality is plus I doubt its any better than your typical S.H. Figuarts.

Im thinking Roll is probably that expensive because they dont think she'll sell all that well and theyr trying to get as much money from the new mold they made for her.I dont know the company other than the previous Megaman figures I've bought, and they are really well made but a bitexpensive for their size specially with thelack of extra accesories (they usualy just come with twopairs ofhands, 2 face plates in some cases, a buster piece and a generic base), they've also been raising their prices slowly with every figure they release, these figures shouldn't be worth more than $49.99 (being imports), I could see a $65 price point if they had the ammount of accesories SHF includes, like 4-6 pairs of hands, a couple buster shot effects and at least 3 faceplates, maybe each figure could come witha small non articulated robot, an energy can, just extra stuff that would make the price reasonable, but as they are sold they are a bit on the expensive side.

Yea, if they padded her out with extras like that, I could definitely seeit being a lot more desirable, especially at that price point. It hadnt occurred to me that it could be something in the mold for her, like theyre essentially seeking a return on their investment, so to speak. Especially if theyve been raising figure prices, thats probably whats going on.

I guess thats a possibility... Im not too familiar with the company either. Ive onlyoccasionally seen the name above certain products. It just seems crazy to me, considering shes about the samescale asan average G.I. Joe.Maybe they think the demand for her is going to be something just shy of earth-shattering?

I wonder if theres much of a call for Gadget figures, these days... Of course, Id buy em all, if they made them. But yea, especially if they were imports like this, gah, I darent imagine what that would run us!

I think its more likely that it would be a US company, the only way it would be an import is if they release a new movie. But I'm with you, I'd be all over some Gadget figures.

Now thats another figure line and movie we need. I bet the Penny figure would at least come with a neatwatch accessory and possibly Brain and only cost maybe $29 at most *cough cough* I'm looking at you Roll?

I would be interested in seeing him in figure form... I mostly remember him, albeit vaguely, from the cartoon. He always reminded me of an Inspector Gadget villain, for some reason, lol.

Thats definitely a much more persuasiveprice point, lol... And, I kind of dig that this version of her looks just a bit more, to my mindat least, like a game character.

Yeah this is the version of her I remember most anyways.
