Street Fighter Ryu Vs. Ryu

As you may or may not know the new Jazwares 6" Street Fighter figures which have started to hit the shelves of KB stores are nothing more than tooled down molds of the Sota 6" Street Fighter figures, which are also starting to hit shelves. The reason for this is to give the consumer access to what are still some nice looking figures, but at a cheaper cost (SRP: $6.99 - $7.99) and sold through a large retail chain like KB Toys, making it easier for your general consumer to find. The Sota figures which are more articulated tend to sell at a higher cost (SRP: $12.99 - $13.99) and are sold through the specialty market gearing it self to the collector market. So with that being said it's not really fair to compare the Sota versions with the Jazwares version since the Sota versions are meant to be more detailed and articulated. However we thought it would still be fun to see the two figure in action together.

So without further ado we bring you Ryu Vs. Ryu a fight to the death.... Well not really cause their only plastic, but you get the idea.

In the left corner we have the Sota Ryu weighing in with 29 points of articulation and interchangeable hands and head. He also comes with a stylish dufflebag. This version has brown hair.

In the right corner weighing in with 13 points of articulation and no accessories is the Jazwares Ryu. This version has black hair.

Combatants face each other and bow:

Now FIGHT!!!:

The WINNER:

Ok so the guy with the more points of articulation wins the fight and gets the girl, but hey the Jazware figures are still fun and at half the price are can make your pocketbook the ultimate winner. Look for the Jazwares versions at KB Toy Stores and the Sota versions at comic and specialty shops now.
