First 4 Figures Magic the Gathering Statue Background

Five statues will be made, one from each of the five different colours of magic. Each colour has its own character: blue is the color of trickery, black is death and destruction magic, red magic is all fire and rage, white heals and protects, and, finally, green magic is aligned with nature and can be used to summon mighty creatures. Each statue will have a colour coordinated base, dependant on which colour of magic they belong to.

The first wave of figures will all be based on the Kamigawa block. Four of the five statues will be from the core Champions of Kamigawa release and one from the Betrayers of Kamigawa expansion set (to be released in February 2005). Plans for a further two waves have been inked in for 2005.
