Class is in Session this November for The Intimates!

Brace yourselves for THE INTIMATES, one of WildStorm's most hotly anticipated new series of 2004! The action hits this November as writer Joe Casey teams with penciller Giuseppe Camuncoli and inker Sandra Hope, with additional art by superstar Jim Lee, who also provides covers! THE INTIMATES is co-created by Lee & Joe Casey, with character designs by Lee.

"This is the first project I've co-created since WildStorm became a part of DC six years ago," says Lee. "It's really been fun to flex thoses muscles again. Giuseppe Camuncoli — Cammo, to his friends — has this amazing blend of Paul Smith and Frank Quitely, and I think he's going to be the next big thing. The fans are going to be very excited when the book comes out!"

THE INTIMATES takes readers to the Seminary, a training school where super-powered teens learn how to be heroes. The series follows the misadventures of new students Punchy, Destra, the Duke, Empty Vee and Sykes as they cope with a curriculum that includes Secret Identity 101, NuPhysics and even Morality Class. But things aren't what they seem at the mysterious Seminary, the home of a dark secret even the retired super-hero faculty may be unaware of. Though they may not realize it, these kids are the future of the WildStorm Universe...but right now, they're just late for gym class!

"This book has been a labor of love for everyone who's been slaving away at it for the past year," says Casey. "Teen super-hero angst has never looked this good. My creative collaborators are the absolute best in the biz! Seeing what we've come up with, from concept to characters, I think THE INTIMATES has something for everyone: something old, something new, something borrowed, and something in technicolor-neon-electric blue."
