LOTR The Walls of Helm's Deep - Aragorn VS Uruk-Hai

by Jay Cochran
June 8, 2007
The great fortress of Helm's Deep, and the caverns beneath, are all that protect the people of Rohan from the onslaught of Saruman's Uruk-hai army. Located in the northern valleys of the White Mountains, Helm's Deep is a critical turning point for the fate of men in The Two Towers.

Dark whispers have turned the hearts of the Rohirrim to despair, as King Theoden has been possessed by the will of the wizard Saruman. Freed from his bondage by Gandalf the White, Theoden seeks to restore his kingdom and save his people, but cannot do so alone. Gandalf seeks aid from Eomer and his loyal men, while Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli help to prepare the defenders for the siege at Helm's Deep.

Aragorn and Theoden face overwhelming numbers, as the entire might of Saruman's vast army of Uruk-hai march to take Helm's Deep. Aragorn rallies the men, lending them his courage and his sword. Together, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, the Rohirrim and the Galadhrim are able to hold Helm's Deep long enough for help to arrive. Gandalf and Eomer arrive, sweeping down on the surprised Uruk-hai. For Aragorn, the battle brings him one step closer to his kingship. Aragorn is destined to be a leader of men, a hero to the nations that survive the war of the Ring.

Sideshow Collectibles and New Line Cinema are proud to bring you the second entry in the series of The Lord of the Rings Dioramas. The Walls of Helm's Deep Diorama captures Aragorn in the heat of battle, as he turns from one attacker to another with grim resolve. The Uruk-hai berserker is slain, but before Aragorn can dispatch the ladder, he must face a ferocious swordsman. The diorama has been sculpted in approximately 1:9 scale, each figure standing approximately 9.5 inches tall. Each piece is cast in high quality polystone, hand-finished, and hand-painted to exacting standards. The Walls of Helm's Deep Diorama is complete with a hand-numbered individual edition number on the bottom side of the base. Don't miss this chance to continue your collection of The Lord of the Rings Dioramas!
