One of the hottest and most interesting new collectibles is the unusual “Hong Kong” style of vinyl figure. Featuring a distortedly stylized approach to anatomy combined with outstanding craftsmanship and detail, these figures are produced in very small quantities and are seldom seen outside of Asia. One of the leading creators in this genre is Eric So. His figures all feature his own original characters until now, when, in a unique collaboration, he has turned his talents toward Mike Mignola’s Hellboy. This figure, shown as a work-in-progress, will be about 13" tall and will include Hellboy’s trench coat and utility belt, as well as other accessories not pictured. Only 999 figures will be produced and distribution in the U.S. and is subject to allocation. Each figure will come with a certificate of authenticity, signed by both Eric So and Mike Mignola.

It should be noted that the figure shown above is not the final version. It will, when finished, have a genuine fabric trench coat, Hellboy's utility belt and accessories, and other special features.
