Dear DST First off i am really digging the universal monster 7″ line and cant wait for the new ones in 2011. With that being said are there plans for more figures to be in black and white like the wolfman or was that just an exclusive for entertainment earth’s web site and are there plans to make another wolfman as the “select line” base like the creature with girl? Thanks again and keep pumping out these great figs.

DSTChuck: Glad you like the figures they have been great to work on! YES at some point I think all the figures in the line will get the B&W treatment at some point, we’ll have to find the best way to release them.

With so many Marvel movies coming out this summer, any plans for X-Men: First Class?

DSTChuck: YES!

Hey, huge fan of the Marvel select line. I’m glad that you guys as a company see the value in adding more articulation to your figures unlike the static DC Direct. Was really disappointed with the MS Deadpool tho, the lack of a bicep swivel, the decidedly limited thigh ball joints, the poor scaling of the figure and the lack of functionality of many of the joints in general. When Magneto is more poseable than Deadpool I think we have a problem. Might you ever consider doing a relaunched Deadpool with added/improved articulation and better size ala how NECA did with their Gears of War figures? And implimenting torso joints and a comic version of Captain America please!!!!!

DSTChuck: Every company has to settle on their own ascetic, I think we do go with look over articulation but we try to find a balance. With Marvel Select we’ve settled on 16 points as the most we’re going to do. I do think we need to get better on the movement on the hip and shoulder joints and we’re working with our factory on that issue right now. As for scale its always been out plan to keep the line in scale. The DP we decided should be a little larger than a standard male figure- I assume that’s what your referring to.

Hello again. I hope that 2011 is great year for DST. Have you ever considered figures for Supernatural? It has been around for a few seasons and is picking up fans every season. I would love to see what DST could do with all of the great characters, ghosts and demons. Oh and add me to list of people wanting classic V figures. Thanks for your time.

DSTChuck: James thanks for the good wishes. I think DST is really poised to take some steps forward this year and deliver more cool stuff. I don’t think we’ve ever discussed Supernatural but I know we’ve tossed around V.
