I don't know if it's the way that is posed but I'm not loving that Sauron, the sculpt and the work is there but it looks kind of meh; maybe that will change when I see some on hand images.

Wow they look epic. Don't think I'll be collecting them but hey!
For those wondering how these hold up under the camera, so far I've found them excellent. The sculpts are of significantly deep cuts and the clothing (soft plastic and rubber mix) are nicely textured, get out of the way well during articulation and are the right sheen under both ambient and spotlights. Like you may have seen, there is a QC issue with Legolas' legs but every breakage I've seen has been from cranking them like a Marvel Legends. I've learned over the years that unless it is Marvel Legends or a handful of other lines, treat them like porcelain dolls. Sucks I know, but they are really only 'toys' in a very loose sense. They are more like posable statues.
An example of how they look under the camera's eye. This one was posted here a little while ago. If you're a movie LoTR fan, I highly recommend them as a good product that is not at a high premium price. Just be careful.
I was avoiding these because I thought DST would fizzle out after a wave or two but these are good and enough to start replacing my toy biz ones.
lets hope they manage to fulfill this build a figure their track record on finishing certain lines isn't great I'm still waiting on that pulp fiction 2nd wave !! and I really really want them to re-issue those real ghostbusters figures now would be a good time with the new movie coming out cause those 2ndary market prices are insane !
That Sauron figure looks amazing, I do want that, sadly none of the LOTR figures have hit Canada yet, I kinda wonder if they even will.
