The Crow movie which came out long before anyone had ever heard of the MCU back in 1994 is one of the better comic book adaption movies of it's time. It starred the late
Brandon Lee who gave a fantastic performance of The Crow character, but unfortunately lost his life during the the filming of the movie. The fatal accident involved a scene where the Draven character was shot by a gun that ended up having live ammunition in it. Despite the accident, because Lee had finished filming most of his scenes for the movie the decision was made to go on and release it at theaters. It was well received by movie audiences, however it was considered a sleeper at the Box Office.
The movie has never had very good action figure representation, possibly due to the adult R rated nature of the movie or possibly because of the accident that cost the actors life. That however has finally changed thanks to the long-awaited
One:12 Collective The Crow figure from
Mezco Toyz.
The figure does a great job of capturing the Eric Draven (The Crow) likeness with it's details and accessories. The figure despite the soft-goods clothing also has a nice range of movement with the articulation. My only minor complaint about the figure is that the hands have a tendency to pop off very easily.
If you have never seen The Crow movie I recommend you check it out and if you have ever wanted an action figure based on the character than this new figure from Mezco is the way to go. Check out my
