Now Playing Series 1 - The Variants

SOTA Toys is pleased to reveal the variants that will be available from NOW PLAYING Series # 1. These figures will consist of action figures based on characters from the movies DARKMAN, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (both licensed from Universal Studios,) and THE TOXIC AVENGER (licensed from Troma Entertainment.)

The Darkman figure will include two heads; fully bandaged (the first image released of Darkman) and exposed head. Tower Records will the exclusive place to get the variant THIRD head, the partially bandaged head.

The Nightmare Demons will come with two heads out of a possible three-Bald Head (the first image released of the Nightmare Demon), Wolf head and Helmet Head. An exclusive FOURTH head, Mohawk Head, will be available through a retailer to be determined

The figures will be available through retailers in November/December 2004, with each one standing approximately 6-7 inches tall, and each coming with a character specific base. The manufacturers suggested retail price for each figure has an SRP of $ 12.99.

NOW PLAYING Series # 2 will include characters from JEEPERS CREEPERS 2, KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (both licensed from MGM,) and THE MUMMY RETURNS (licensed from Universal Studios.) coming in early 2005. Additional NOW PLAYING figures are due throughout 2005.
