New LEGO Movie 2 Trailer & Sets Revealed

Following this morning’s release of a new trailer for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part (in theaters, February 8, 2019), the LEGO Group is announcing an expansive line of building sets inspired by the highly anticipated film.



Nineteen building sets, including a LEGO DUPLO set for the youngest builders, include fan-favorites from The LEGO Movie, such as Emmet and Lucy, as well as new characters like General Mayhem, Rex Dangervest and Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi. The sets will be available beginning December 26, 2018.

The Thricycle set, the space ship house set, the Batman set, and the space man sets are the ones I'll pick up from this bunch.They don't look too bad, but I think the sets from the first movie were more fun looking. I'm not sure I like the aesthetic of mixing the "girl" style Lego and Duplo with the regular Lego sets, but maybe I'll like it more after seeing the movie.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the 1st LEGO movie, really hope this one continues the trend. Im all for kid movies that adults can sit through and even enjoy.
