LEGO has three new 89 Batman themed sets coming in August.
Batwing: Batman vs. The Joker Set #76265 with 357 pieces that will retail for $37.99.
Put classic action from the 1989 movie Batman into kids’ hands with LEGO DC Batwing: Batman vs. The Joker (76265). With iconic characters and endless high-flying adventures, this versatile playset will delight young superheroes aged 8 and up. Batwing features 2 stud launchers and a cockpit for the Batman minifigure. A storage compartment behind the cockpit holds Batman’s Batarangs and handcuffs. The model has an indentation on the underside that allows it to be hung on the wall when not in action. For added digital fun, builders can zoom in, rotate sets in 3D and track their progress using the fun, intuitive LEGO Builder app.
Batmobile: Batman vs. The Joker Chase Set# 76224 with 438 pieces that will retail for $47.99.
This Batmobile playset brings all the drama and excitement of the classic 1989 movie to life. A lift-off roof provides access to the vehicle’s cockpit, with room for a minifigure in the driving seat. When kids turn a control on the side of the car, 2 built-in blasters rise into position. A flame element attached to the tailpipe revolves as the Batmobile moves, and a flip-open trunk provides storage space for the included Batarang, harpoon spike and handcuffs. There are 2 minifigures – Batman and The Joker – plus accessories including a helmet and cape. For added digital fun, builders can zoom in, rotate models in 3D and track their progress using the fun, intuitive LEGO Builder app.
Batmobile Pursuit: Batman vs. The Joker set# 76264 with 54 pieces that will retail for $26.99.
This LEGO 4+ set introduces youngsters to creative construction and endless imaginative fun with 2 of the most iconic comic-book characters: Batman and The Joker. Accessories, including The Joker’s stolen money and Batman’s cape, helmet and Batarang, help inspire imaginative role play. A Starter Brick car chassis helps kids build the Batmobile ‘by myself’. A colorful picture-story serves as a build-and-play guide, and for added digital fun builders can zoom in, rotate sets in 3D and track their progress using the fun, intuitive LEGO Builder app.
