Shown below via
IGN are some of the winners from the
Lego Ideas review, which will turn amateur submissions into real, officially released sets. Six sets have been approved and will get official releases, including a
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers set, a
E.T. set, a
Smurf village set, the
Downton Abbey Highclere Castle set and 2 original ideas: a
bowl of ramen and a Day of the Dead inspired '
La Catrina'.
More fan submissions are still being reviewed, including a
Golden Girls set, a
Daft Punk set and an
Old man and the Sea set.
Note that the sets shown in the pictures were from the fan submissions and do not represent the final sets. These will be tweaked before the official release from Lego's own designers. No timeline set for when they’ll be released, but the official versions of these prototypes are now in the works. Stay tuned for more details!
