STAR WARS MINI-BUST: GAMORREAN GUARD
On sale October 27, 5 1/2" tall, fully painted, package in a full color box with certificate of authenticity, $45.00
Gentle Giant Studios has turned their skills toward a sculptural depiction of one of Jabba the Hutt’s chief minions—the Gammorean Guards. These fellows, dominant on their home planet Gamorr, favor ancient weapons like the axe pictured. They are much too set in their ways to pick up a blaster! Gamorreans generally worked their way up from the slave class into their more appropriate work as guards and soldiers. Tricked by Jabba into serfdom at his palace, most came to a bad end as depicted in Return of the Jedi.
As always, Gentle Giant Studios, recent winners of Diamond’s Gem Award for best mini-bust of 2003, have created an elaborately detailed and highly collectible new edition to their growing cast of Star Wars character sculptures. It’s so real you can practically smell it. Almost.
This statue stands 5 1/2" tall and includes metal axe blade and shoulder pads, packaged in full-color box with certificate of authenticity. Edition size not set at press time.
