2006 Cut & Paste Digital Design Tournament

From breakdancing contests, DJ battles and poetry jams to fashion shows, gallery exhibitions and film festivals, New York serves as an epicenter and source of inspiration for modern culture. Battling for cred, style points, legitimacy, and earning the right to be at the top is the way to carve out your legacy in NYC. Design is no exception.

Last November, eight graphic designers participated in the first-ever Cut & Paste Digital Design Tournament, displaying their artistic and technical prowess in front of a screaming audience and panel of distinguished judges. A new platform was created where graphic designers can flex their creative muscle in front of their peers and earn the admiration and respect of industry professionals in a structured competitive format.
