The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the 77th Annual Academy Awards on Tuesday morning. Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland®. The Oscars will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST / 8p.m. EST, beginning with a half-hour arrivals segment.
The Aviator leads with 11 nominations, followed by Finding Neverland and Million Dollar Baby with 7, Ray with 6, and Sideways with 5.
