The Rock To Star In DOOM Movie!

Not only is he supposed to be playing underwater hero ‘Namor’ in Marvel’s “Sub Mariner” movie, but in-demand wrestler cum actor The Rock (Or Dwayne as Grandma and Grandpa Rocko call him) is also tipped to be starring in the film version of classic computer game “Doom”.

Talking to Empire Online about his next flick, “Spy Hunter”, the big guy said he’s got a date with “Doom” close to Santa’s next stopover.

"Spy-Hunter's great. John Woo's on board to direct. The script should come in, in about two weeks," The Rock told the magazine. "I'm very, very excited about that. It's supposed to be shot in Prague and Amsterdam, but... You know how movie-making is. If we have to push it because of the weather and the Christmas vacation, then I'll probably take another movie with Universal called Doom."

The film’s being penned by Enda McCallion and is largely based on the upcoming “Doom 3”.
