Director Darren Lynn Bousman, has been hired to helm "Saw 2", for Twisted Pictures and Lions Gate Films. Principal photography is set to begin May 2nd 2005 in Toronto. Bousman wrote the Saw 2 screenplay. Leigh Whannel and James Wan helped develop it. Wan directed the first film, he is also acting as a producer for the sequel.
Mark Burg, Daniel J. Heffner, Gregg Hoffman and Oren Koules will also produce the feature according to Variety.
