Hindi 'Sesame Street' launches next week

New Delhi-based Turner International India and Sesame Workshop said Wednesday that the Hindi version of U.S. kids' series Sesame Street will premiere Aug. 15 as Galli Galli Sim Sim on Cartoon Network. "Having shaped kids television in India with the launch of Cartoon Network and subsequently the successful launch of POGO, we once again aim to set a new benchmark in the industry with 'Galli Galli Sim Sim, ' " Turner International India managing director Anshuman Mishra said.
