The WB wants to do an Angel film

Garth Ancier, chairman of The WB network, tells SciFi Wire that the network is in talks with Joss Whedon to do a series of "Angel" telemovies.

"[We] have an offer on the table to Joss to do movies," Ancier said during the network's fall press preview in Los Angeles. "When Joss and David Boreanaz are both interested in doing it at the same time, I'm sure we will be doing Angel movies. Certainly Joss would like to. David will take a bit more coaxing, but I think he will do it."

Boreanaz has previously let it be known that he'd only be interested in doing an "Angel" film if the script was good and was on a 'bigger' scale than the series. He'd prefer it to be a feature film too. Still, fingers crossed for the fans.
