The Digital Bits Website has confirmed that the entire Star Trek: The Original Series will be available on DVD by the end of 2004. The long awaited release of the first season of the original series (see "Star Trek Season One Coming to DVD") is set for August, and now we have confirmation that the Original Series Season 2 Collection will be out on November 2, followed by Season 3 on December 7. All three seasons of the Original Star Trek Series will also be available in an omnibus edition on December 7.

No details have been released yet about the extras included on Seasons 2 & 3, though the original Star Trek pilot episode, The Cage, which starred Jeffrey Hunter (as Captain Christopher Pike) instead of William Shatner (as Captain James T. Kirk), is reportedly going to be included with the Season 3 DVD set.
