A DVD containing five of creator Seth MacFarlane's favorite Family Guy episodes will include previews of MacFarlane's new animated series, American Dad, as well as a discussion of the fourth season of Family Guy set to debut this summer. Family Guy: The Freakin' Sweet Collection (SRP $19.95) streets on December 14th includes an interview with MacFarlane in which he discusses American Dad as well as the long-awaited revival of the Family Guy series.

American Dad, which features an overzealous CIA agent and his strange household, debuts in January, while the "fourth" season of Family Guy should debut on the Fox network this summer. The Family Guy series debuted after the Superbowl in 1999 and lasted for three seasons before it was cancelled. When the first season collection of the Family Guy became a hit on DVD and reruns of the series scored big ratings for the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, Fox made the unprecedented decision to revive the series.
