Todd McFarlane To Direct New Disturbed Video

February 24, 2006

Spawn.com has announced that Todd McFarlane will create a music video for the band Disturbed's platinum album, Ten Thousand Fists. McFarlane and Greg Capullo collaborated on the cover artwork for the album, which debuted in the #1 spot on Billboard's Top 200 chart in September and has remained in the top 75 for 22 consecutive weeks.

The video is a project of Todd McFarlane Entertainment, directed by Todd McFarlane and Chuck Patton and produced by Terry Fitzgerald.

"It's always exciting to work on music videos and to pour yourself into them in a big way," says McFarlane. "We get to rock out artistically, and the creativity the band has thrown our way will make this fairly easy for us."

Ten Thousand Fists' first single, "Stricken" went to #1 on the Active Rock radio chart, making it the band's seventh consecutive single to reach #1 on this chart.
Details have not yet been released on which single on the album will get "the McFarlane touch."
