Update: Playmates has confirmed for us that wave 2 will only include the two figures of Rocksteady and Bebop, so I guess we will have to wait a little longer for Shredder and any others. Playmates also confirmed for us that we will get a look at both Rocksteady and Bebop at Toy Fair next month, so stay tuned.
Last November we told you that Playmates was working on a second series of Classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures and not it looks like we know two of the figures to be included in the wave. According to the
Playmates Toys website it will be Shredder's mutant henchmen from the classic TV series
Bebop &
Rocksteady. The site has the two figures listed with silhouettes of the characters shown.
Since series 1 contained four figures we can only hope series 2 will as well. We can only hope Shredder and possibly Krang will round out this wave of villains. We will likely get our first look at these next month at the New York Toy Fair which we will be brining you full coverage of. Thanks to John Harmon for the heads up about these being listed.
