Oh man, as a fan of the OVA, I'd be all over reissues of those, or better yet, NECA or Super7 figures of them. If one of those two did it there's a chance they'd even do the Turtle Saint.

Considering a Leo was designed, my best guess is they were planning a second wave, possibly with villains or other characters, but the first wave didn't sell well enough to move forward. It was 1995, after all, I know all the kids my age (around 8 ) at the time had moved on to Power Rangers, I didn't even know TMNT was still airing new episodes at the time. When Next Mutation started airing, I thought it was the first new TMNT stuff in several years, turns out the original cartoon had only ended 10 months earlier, which still blows my mind.

I used to love those figures because they were so different. IDK if I'd drop large sums of money to have new version but we'll see when/if they materialize.
