Shown below is some new test shot images of the upcoming Mythic Legions: Poxxus Wave Aracagorr Figure from Four Horsemen Toy Design and is up for pre-order from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com!
QuoteWe know its been awhile since weve talked about the Mythic Legions: Poxxus wave, but that wave is absolutely moving along in the preproduction process! In fact, for this wave we are working to expand our tooling resources to help speed up the process on future waves. Tooling, which is the process of making the steel molds which are used to inject the plastic for the figures, is oftentimes the part of the figure production process that takes the longest and contributes to many of the delays. By expanding our tooling capabilities, we hope to be able to get these toys into your hands faster. So the Poxxus wave is taking a bit longer than we wanted, but the benefits of this process will be seen down the road for sure - and of course the resulting figures will have the same level of sculpted detail that Legions have become known for! We will never compromise quality in favor of speed (but we are working to improve both!).On that note, here are a few shots of an Aracagorr test shot we got at the studio a little over a month ago.We have LOTS of great stuff happening at our factories right now, with multiple waves moving through the process as they near full production, or in the case of Cosmic Legions 1 - nearing the completion of production! Stay tuned for more images and details on the status of everything we are working on! Needless to say, we cannot wait for fans to get Aracagorr and the rest of the Poxxus wave in hand!
If you missed LegionCon last weekend but still want to try and get your hands on the 2021 LegionCon Exclusive Sir Girard figure from The Four Horsemen, well you will get a chance this coming Saturday (11/20).Starting at 3pm ET the figure will be made available for pre-order on the LegionsShop.com website.
The figure will not be in stock there and they say it will take approximately 4 weeks to get them shipped out to folks. The figure will be limited one per person.
these look great. It's good to see some wizards! I wonder if they'll do Merlin. These new pieces are making me want to start getting into the legions line.
The Sir Girard figure, named for Mythic Legions customizer and Four Horsemen Studos webmaster Jeremy Girard, was a Legions Con exclusive, but more will be available online this coming Saturday, 11/20/21, on Joe Veteri's and Jeremy Girard's Legions Shop (I do not believe they will come signed like the example below, and that was done at the con this past weekend).

They do have plans on making a dragon. Thus far every character they've hinted at, they've done. One of the problems with the dragon is going to be how its shipped. If you look at the scale of the regular line, the Ogres, and then the Trolls, the dragon is gonna be scaled accordingly. They're not gonna do a Marvel Legends Ant-Man/Giant Man type, in comparison to the rest of the 6" line. They want to go more massive and more in scale with what they have. Something that massive is gonna require some serious packaging. Probably gonna have to come in 2 separate boxes.
Oh, and they also have one last Horseman to do (they have War, Famine, and just now Pestilence, so Death is last). Dragon will probably show after that.
FakeEyes22 has provided some more photos of the Poxxus, Builder Wave and Sir Girard Mythic Legion Figures! These all look great and please as always keep here for more updates!
Ah these are beautiful as always, mythic legions my dream figures, but I own them only in my dreams.

It's been five years since the first wave shipped to Kickstarter backers, and secondary market prices don't translate into direct sales for the company. Somebody pays $300 for an Urzokk on Ebay, but the Horsemen only got $38 dollars for that same figure from the original buyer on Store Horsemen or even less through Kickstarter. Nobody's saying it's not a successful line, though, and I have a feeling they may be saving the big dragon as the next big reveal for after the fourth horseman, Necroniminus. I'd be surprised if by this time next year, we haven't at least heard something substantial about it.I don't know where you are, but they're at a con in New Jersey this weekend if you want to talk to them about it.

These have got to be some of the greatest sculpts of all time.
