Shown below is a look at the Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game Heroic Cleric and Character pack from the Four Horsemen Studios. Stay tuned for more details!
Today we are showing another upcoming new figure that will be part of our Kickstarter for Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game, along with more information on how we are building customization and character creation into these figures and into the game!
Popping and swapping and customizing have been a part of Mythic Legions since the very start of the line. This works wonderfully well in an RPG setting since creating characters, and updating those characters over time as they “level up” and get new stuff, is a part of the gameplay experience. Some of the items offered for Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game will be what we call “Base Player Figures”. The Heroic Cleric shown in this post is an example of one of these figures, which will be part of the Kickstarter for $29.99.
The Cleric comes with a brand new torso and waist pieces, plus a mace, spellbook on chain, chest belt, removable shoulder armor, and 2 sets of hands.
These Base Player Figures can be customized with corresponding “Character Packs” that include pieces specifically meant to pair with them. These Character Packs will be $14.99 in the Kickstarter. The Paladin Pack includes a helmet with 2 different face plate options, a plume and a spike for helmet toppers, a sword and scabbard, and a shield. Swap these parts onto your Cleric and you now have a Paladin for your gameplay needs or for your collection. The second to last picture here shows these parts and how they work together.
You can customize your figures even further with various Add-Ons sets. This Kickstarter will include a Heads Pack and Weapons Packs that will provide further options for the Base Player Figures. The final image here shows some of these Add-On pieces on the Cleric base figure. Of course, because these RPG figures are all made with the Legions Library of parts, existing Mythic Legions figures and parts will also work with them, meaning the possibilities for character customizations are nearly endless!
that is a pretty excellent idea and rather a good priceHasbro should do the same with D&D and Magic the Gatheringalthough I would prefer 4 inch figures too
