Four Horsemen Reveal Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn Wave

Four Horsemen has revealed their new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave, featuring a mix of Legion Builders, Mission Packs, deluxe figure releases, and new alien characters to the Cosmic Legions line.

Included in this wave are new releases such as the Protectorate Guardian Legion Builder, ACU-3, Protectorate Deployment ACU Mission Pack, Protectorate Seek and Strike Mission Pack, Dr. Thyxx Zajjarii, Brainer / Mechroticon, Arch General Honora, Kyojii Rune, Zorrtexx, and Globulon Krunn.

The Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave goes up for pre-order tonight, Wednesday, July 8 at 9:00 PM EDT, exclusively at StoreHorsemen.com. Four Horsemen has also confirmed $9.99 flat rate shipping in the U.S. for this Cosmic Legions pre-order, so collectors can pre-order as many figures as they want and keep shipping under $10.

PROTECTORATE GUARDIAN LEGION BUILDER

The first figure reveal in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave includes a brand-new head-to-toe build – the PROTECTORATE GUARDIAN LEGION BUILDER.

This figure is one of our most articulated Cosmic Legions to date, with new double-jointed elbows and knees, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, thigh cuts, waist cuts, ankle rockers, and more! The best part is that these figures are still compatible with the Legions Build System for popping-and-swapping!

This figure is a Legion Builder, which means he comes in at a lower price than our standard figures and is perfect for army building, customizing and more! He includes a new rifle weapon, removable shoulder armor, swappable pouches/chest plate on his arms, legs, and chest, 2 different face shields, and 2 sets of hands.

ACU-3

The second figure reveal in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is another brand-new head-to-toe build and something Cosmic Legionairres have definitely been waiting for. Introducing the ACU-3, or Autonomous Construct Units – Generation 3. That’s right, we have “robots” in Cosmerrium now!

This figure is one of our most articulated Cosmic Legions to date, with new double-jointed elbows and knees, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, thigh cuts, waist cuts, ankle rockers, and more! The best part is that these figures are still compatible with the Legions Build System for popping-and-swapping!

This figure is a Legion Builder, which means he comes in at a lower price perfect for army building, customizing and more! He includes 2 heads (one of which has 2 different “eye lense” options), a new grenade launcher weapon, removable shoulder and leg armor, a set of hands, a set of claws, and 2 antennas.

PROTECTORATE DEPLOYMENT ACU MISSION PACK

The next reveals in the in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave are a pair of Mission Packs. This one is the PROTECTORATE DEPLOYMENT ACU MISSION PACK.

This add-on set was made to pair with our ACU figure (Autonomous Construct Unit). It includes extra pieces that you can use to upgrade your ACUs and provide some cool variety if you are building out a small army of these figures!

This set includes 2 new heads, a new rifle weapon, a backpack, 2 sets of hands, a set of open claws, 2 tubes, and swappable pouches for the chest, arms, and legs on the figure – all of which can be added to the ACU build as seen in these images.

The second Mission Pack in the in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is the PROTECTORATE SEEK AND STRIKE MISSION PACK.

This add-on set was made to pair with our new Protectorate Guardian Legion Builder figure. It includes extra pieces that you can use to upgrade your Guardians and provide some cool variety if you are building out a small army of these figures!

This set includes a new head with a removable face shield and 2 antennas, a new bazooka weapon with an attachable stand and shield, a set of leg bands, a backpack with a pair of wings, and a premium wired soft goods skirt.

DR. THYXX ZAJJARII

The third figure reveal (and 5th reveal overall) in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is our first ever imp-scale release in the Cosmic line – DR. THYXX ZAJJARII.

This figure comes loaded out with a variety of accessories, including a fully-articulated second figure in the set!

Dr. Zajjarii includes 3 heads, 4 tools plus a tool pouch, 5 sets of hands, rifle, backpack, and a mask with tubes to connect to the backpack. The secondary figure is a fully articulated Crawler bot that comes with 2 attachments for the top – a flat surface to haul items or act as a work table as well as a seat that Dr. Zajjarii can ride on! The “legs” of the Crawler are also compatible with Legions figures.

BRAINER / MECHROTICON

The next figure reveal in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is both a named character and a set that includes parts to build out other figures with this same them. This is BRAINER / MECHROTICON!

This figure, which is a horrific mix of flesh and cybernetics gone wrong, includes 3 heads (the main head is the Brainer character, the other 2 are other Mechroticons), 2 arm blasters with inserts and blast effects that can be swapped with the figure’s lower arms, a data terminal with stand, wires, and antenna, 2 sets of hands, and 7 data conduit cables.

The Brainer character was actually designed many years ago by Eric Treadaway’s son, Brandon. Eric took that initial design and the story that Brandon had for the character and we expanded on it to create this figure and the horrific Mechroticon species for Cosmic Legions!

ARCH GENERAL HONORA

The next figure reveal in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is from our recently introduced Spear of Zol affiliation – ARCH GENERAL HONORA.

This deluxe figure includes 3 different heads (one of which has 2 different hair length attachments), a backpack with a large set of wings, a removable bubble helmet, 2 swords (1 normal and 1 powered-up), 2 blade attachments, a rifle, 2 tubes, and 4 sets of hands.

The figure itself (which is on a 1.0 body) is highly-posable with new double-jointed elbows and knees, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, thigh cuts, waist cuts, ankle rockers, and more! The best part is Honora is still compatible with the Legions Build System for popping-and-swapping!

The next figure reveal in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is one we have teased recently in some of our Cosmic lore drops – the Mortal Thorn agent known as “The Blade” – KYOJII RUNE.

This deluxe figure includes 3 different heads (half-mask, fully unmasked, and a helmeted head), 4 Magmarri blades (2 normal and 2 powered-up), 2 pistols, swappable thigh attachments (armor or holsters for the pistols), back holder for the blades, 6 sets of hands, removable shoulder armor, swappable pouches, and a premium wired soft goods cloak with the Mortal Thorn logo on the back.

The figure itself (which is on a 1.0 body) is highly-posable with new double-jointed elbows and knees, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, thigh cuts, waist cuts, ankle rockers, and more! The best part is Kyojii is still compatible with the Legions Build System for popping-and-swapping!

If you’ve been waiting for some crazy new aliens to drop in this new Cosmic Legions wave, these next few reveals are for you! This is the Medullix criminal known as ZORRTEXX!

This figure includes 2 different heads (one of which has a translucent brain and electrical attachments for when he is “powered-up”), a pistol with detachable cable, hip holster for the pistol, rifle, 5 sets of hands (including the electrically-charged powered-up set), swappable chest and organs, and an electrical effect piece.

GLOBULON KRUNN

The final figure reveal in the new Cosmic Legions: Mortal Thorn wave is the biggest one in the wave and the biggest figure we’ve done to date in the Cosmic line! This monster oozes menace, both figuratively and literally. This is GLOBULON KRUNN!

This monster-sized figure, who is even larger than our previously-released Highwarden Slogg, is an angry pile of translucent orange ooze! The figure is fully articulated and is sure to dominate any shelf you display him on! Pair him with his partner-in-crime, Zortexx, for a wonderful duo ready to do someone’s dirty work!

Globulon Krunn comes with 2 sets of hands and a large pistol weapon.
