Score Entertainment Announces Promotional Partnership with JAKKS Pacific

Score Entertainment, a leading manufacturer of premium trading card games, is proud to announce a promotional partnership with JAKKS Pacific, Inc (NASDAQ: JAKK). The two Dragon Ball Z licensees will collaborate on a special assortment of Dragon Ball Z action figures that will be packaged with collectible Score Dragon Ball Z trading cards and soon will be available at a store near you!

The new assortment, titled Transformation, will feature six articulated and highly detailed Dragon Ball Z figures, plus an exclusive Dragon Ball Z TCG Transformation collectible trading card featuring the same character. Action figure collectors and true fans of the show will appreciate having a detailed keepsake to commemorate their purchase. The characters featured in this product line are:

Super Saiyan Goku
Super Saiyan Future Trunks
Super Saiyan Vegeta
Piccolo
Gohan
Frieza (Cybor)

A limited edition seventh figure, Super Saiyan Broly, will be produced exclusively for Score Entertainment for distribution only at conventions, explicit Score-sanctioned events, and Score’s promotional programs. Score’s exclusive Super Saiyan Broly is an entirely new figure and will feature unique paints and metallic golden hair to signify his destructive capabilities.

Dragon Ball Z was the first anime to penetrate American mainstream media in 1990’s. The beloved television show—brainchild of Akira Toriyama—was the first Japanese program to dominate ratings on both sides of the Pacific. In an epic adventure, Goku and his eclectic group of friends searched the cosmos for the almighty Dragon Balls. Making friends and vanquishing villains along the way, the heroes strived to complete their Dragon Ball collection, for accomplishing the feat grants an individual one wish to be realized.

Score and JAKKS Pacific expect the Transformation assortment to be available in June at Toys “R” Us, Kmart and KB Toys with a suggested retail price of $6.99.
