NYTimes is a look at three new figures
Mattel will be offering through their
MattelCreations website under the
"Back In Action" banner. The figures are based on their classic brands
Pulsar, Big Jim and
Major Matt MasonMattel will have these at SDCC this week, so its not clear if that is where they will be sold. If so then they likely will be available online on 7/22 at 9am PT.
No word on price but you can see the figures are done in a minimal articulation retro style.
Pixel-Dan has these in-hand and will be posting a video about them soon so we will likely get more details about them then.
This is actually really cool to see, I'd likely grab these, but if they are not going to be on retail shelves and solely available on Mattelcreations & SDCC I'm not even going to bother.
bring back Secret Wars! that would be insane, I'm sure Hasbro wouldn't be too keen on that.
