Nice to see this is still available and didn't sell out instantly, like I've noticed it seems like Mattelcreations is getting better with things and actually having figures available for more then like 30 minutes. I still am not sure if I will get this, because I don't collect Masterverse but it would be kinda cool to have a giant horde trooper in my Origins collection, or maybe it would look silly...I dunno, of course if I do decide this is a figure I want I'm sure it will be to late and would have sold out.
I guess its not a pre orders.my Horde Trooper has been shipped!!
I was late to this party but I just preorder two just in case we get stand size Horde Troopers...?????
I'm not sure these are pre-orders. I can't find anything on the order page that indicates this, at least. I was expecting to order at least two, but I backed it down to one. There's something kind of... and I recognize the irony of this statement, but "cheap 80s robot" about the design. Like, the kind of thing you'd find with 5 poa at a discount store back in the day, or something. Obviously it's more sophisticated than that, but just from the design aesthetic it conjures up that feeling, like it doesn't quite fit in with Masterverse, or something. I don't hate it, or I wouldn't have ordered it, but I'm not amazed by it either. Maybe I'll feel differently once it's in-hand. I do like the removable helmet and the guy inside. That almost makes me want to get a 2nd, but this has been an expensive month already.
The latest addition to our Masterverse collection is our largest army builder to date: the New Eternia Oversized Horde Trooper. Standing tall at 8.5, our mechanical enforcer has removable body parts including legs, arms, and hands. He also comes ready for battle with a sword, a spear with articulated wings, and a backpack to hold all his weapons. But is the Horde Trooper humanoid or robot? His removable helmet solves this mystery once and for all, revealing the Horde Goblin inside the armor. Orders are open with a suggested retail price of $33.00 only on MattelCreations. Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Oversized Horde Trooper Action Figure Stands 8.5 tall with 32 points of articulation Includes removable helmet, head, shoulder armor, arms, legs, and hands Also armed for battle with a sword and spear Packaging displays an epic battle between Horde Troopers and Eternia Royal Guards
Ok, I need to get me several of these Horde troopers man... Are this going to be the main troopers or are we are going to get later skinnier versions? If not, then I have to buy as many as I can...???
Oh wow, this thing is a masterpiece, I adore this, Don't collect Masterverse but this is extremely tempting for how sweet it looks, really a faithful modern interpretation of the Horde Trooper, I don't really have a place for this but It's going to be hard to say no to.
I am definitely getting this big conkey boy! Not bad for $33, I was waiting for this to drop. Let the Troop building commence!!
