I overpaid for a Black card Hogan to hang on my wall with my Blue Card. I'm not getting the hot dog tan versions. If I had known you had a black card I would taken it off your hands.

The lure of nostalgia is a strong one, even in spite of advances in technology - just look at the revival of vinyl for evidence of that. Unless I'm filling a gap in an existing vintage collection, any retro style doesn't interest me, but there are plenty of people that do, so if they like it then good for them.
As for new collectors of a vintage form factor they don't have a nostalgic tie to... I'm sure they exist. These types of figures appealed back in the day and there's plenty of unarticulated/statue-ish products out there nowadays that someone's buying them, so why not?
