It might work if it was in the 7 inch scale where it's a shade more detailed and nasty. At this scale and styling, my first impression was that next to He-Mango, he looked like Coral Reef Reaper Skeletor. Or at maybe a ketchup packet explosion Skeletor? Good for product placement!

Speaking as someone whose body glory has hone outta wack, this just scares me more than anything. Trust me, that's one itchy fella.
I don't hate it, at least he did more than take a Skeletor and paint him brown. It's almost a Little Nemo, or Gilded Age aesthetic.
There is some new sculpting, but ultimately, it's just label slapping, which I guess is part of MOTU history LOL.
If they hired me, I would try to do something with the bucks themselves. There are WWE bucks that haven't made into Origins, which could be cool new characters. Rather than repaint and re-armor, make something truly your own that stands alongside the original.

I don't know who's interested in grandma-decoupage He-Man, but I gotta give props to that Skeletor design. I can't think of a pairing with a larger quality-gap than these two sets.

The simple black trunks speak to the character but make it a lot harder to sell multiple versions of to kids and collectors! If he were wrestling today, I'm sure management would be putting the hard word on him to vary his ring gear more so they could sell more toys!
Yes this is true-it's kind of crazy to buy the same Austin basic design elite figure but with a different vest just to get different looks lol. Although we've seen a ton of figures with him in different clothes, I want to get the jeans target legends austin jersey figure. We saw him in his camo jacket in a Monday Night War wave! I think the only one I'd get that we have not seen left to be remade is his red and black bionic redneck look!
