You can certainly see the design lineage there! Thanks for the info!

It actually was a different character named Paladin "Paladin was actually first intended by Mark Taylor for the never-produced Rob-N & the Space Hoods toyline. When that line failed to be green-lit, the character (eventually named Man-At-Arms) was reused for Masters of the Universe."

Nice knowledge drop there mate!

I have never seen any concept art of Man-E-Face like this but I love him! The whole Sketchbook series would be great to collect. If the brand were more active, I'd say they should just be putting these out as new characters in the first place.

They're overflowing because I think they order too much and once everyone who wants the figure gets it, the rest just sit there. It can be so bad that it can kill a line that otherwise sells well. The Simpsons line is probably dead because of the massive amount of series 1 and 2 from both scales at Walmart. Everything after series 3 flies off shelves and can't be kept in stock both at retail and online. If you know where to go to get them online for retail price then it's not an issue, but even those sell out eventually. I know there's a yet to be released Moo Moo Homer placeholder on Amazon and the character list(s) for wave 7 of both scales are online, but if they never get released then I'm blaming it on Walmart. I was able to find almost everything at Target and Gamestop, in person, including the both the deluxe 5" Kong Homer and the more in scale Kong Homer that's closer to 12", but if Walmart only offers early waves and never puts them on clearance to make room for newer figures then that's a huge problem for any line.

I'm curious to see if the helmet is removable, and if so what he looks like under it.

Sketchbook series have been overflowing at my targets, that's all i ever see over there that's motu these days. I think they should switch and make these exclusive to mattel creations and have regular motu releases show up at target.

Nice, but I have preordered all of these already. Sadly, I already lost out on Samurai Armor He-Man due to stupid Walmart cancelling it for no reason... not losing out on the rest when this has been the toyline I waited for since ages!
