Admittedly DST did a fairly extensive job of the Buffy line back in the day, but even they didn't touch a lot of the core versions we got back in the Moore Action Collectibles days so there'd be sooo much room for a good modern Buffy line with modern articulation and fidelity to the actors' likenesses. Biggest problem would be who to do it? Can't see either of the big two investing in a line for tv show that's been over for more than two decades, wouldn't really want to see McFarlane do it with their frequenetly less-than-stellar likenesses... it would seem like the sort of thing that Nacelle would be good for if they could get their quality a bit better and improve on their production timeframes...

Yeah the truth is I think that NECA would be the only right fit, I mean Super7 did do ReAction, and Mattel is doing something But I think it would be way too big a gamble for most companies to undertake doing a whole line, and I just don't think they'd have the sculpting that would fit quite like NECa would, also NECA might be the only ones brave enough.

I know right! I didn't think I was alone, not sure why someone hasn't thought about doing that, Buffy has such a cult following it's almost unsettling, like I could actually call 10 people I know up and if I told them a Buffy collector line was coming out they'd get ready to make the purchases, and those people don't even collect figures.

I would absolutely buy the heck out of a collector 6-inch line of Buffy.

It would be really cool if we got some action figures out of this...I mean Loyal Subjects did a poopy poor job at one point with 2 whole figures, But we know BST AXN was notoriously shallow, but like Hey Mattel Go get it.

I wonder if this sudden push on Buffy merch was intended to support the Buffy reboot that didn't make it past pilot stage earlier this year?

I'd bet the farm on it, why else would there be a bunch of new Buffy Merch for no good reason, because there was a reason, I mean makes sense. Honestly I;m here for it, Keep the rando Buffy stuff coming..Nobody needs to know why, we know.
