I wonder what is taking Todd so long. Maybe Mattel has dibs on that and they are starting their line with Absolute Batman? Seems doubtful. As for this figure, its technically a good figure, but overall it clashes with the very cartoony style and proportions of Absolute Batman and the hyperrealistic Hot Toys style. Personally, for me, this doesnt work. Someone like Mondo could do a better job in theory, in my opinion.

Nice. I don't usually pay too much attention to DC stuff until they're officially revealed, and wasn't sure if there's anything else unannounced since they only have like 6 months left. is it just Batman, or will we get at least Wonder Woman and Superman, too?

Yeah, I thought McFarlane would do something like that too, but he still might, it's his style. I guess he'll rebuild Batman's body from The Dark Knight Returns. (That's what he usually does.)
