Funko's 6" Game Of Thrones Legacy Figures Revealed & Released?!?

by Jay Cochran
February 9, 2014
Funko hasn't even officially announced that they are doing 6" Game of Thrones for their new Legacy line and yet it appears they are already leaking out to eBay and retail.

Funko has compared their new Legacy figures to that of Hasbro's The Black series. The first series of Game Of Thrones seems to include Jon Snow, The Hound, White Walker, Daenerys Targaryen, Ned Stark and Tyrion Lannister which is not shown.

We have also heard a few reports that these are starting to show up at Barnes & Noble stores, which really shouldn't be a big surprise they would be the first ones to carry these. Barnes & Noble is probably the largest national retail chain to carry Funko stuff such as their POP! Vinyl lines. Thanks to everyone who has written in about these and hopefully Funko will get around to officially announcing these soon.

A series three...I need to finish series 2 quickly!

I think Amazon still has selected ones on sale...

I am surprised they haven't made a dire wolves set yet...

I think I need one more series 3 figure, Arya. I want to get an extra Jaime Lannister and make Ser Barristan.

Just added Dark Horse Deluxe's Eddard "Ned" Stark to the collection. I reviewed him here.

I can't wait for series three of these figures!

I decided to go with the Dark Horse Deluxe stuff due to FunKo's QC issues. I snagged Tyrion Lannister first and reviewed him yesterday: Tyrion Lannister Review

I like these a lot. I've ordered the rest that are currently available. They kind of remind me of the MOTU Stactions or the old Frazetta toyline fron N2 Toys.

Sure wish the finished product is at least 80% as good as this. 130 sure is a deep wound for my wallet, but with my fanaticism for the show, I prolly could justify it as long as the quality is above average to great.

Found the dwarf at TRU and I couldn't resist. If he breaks, it's getting returned.

Main things for me would be sculpt and paint. I feel Dark Horse is on top when it comes to that, but the pull away is that its a static display and it comes with that horrible uninspired turd looking base. As for Funko Legacy, the articulation is a plus and the quality of the clothes are good, but Ive read a lot of negative reviews bout the paint especially on the face. Im starting to wonder whether I should wait for what ThreeZero can offer, much more expensive, but usually above average quality too.

Funko stated that these issues will be fixed on the second run... Lets hope that it is true...
