Looks like Best Buy let the cat out of the bag for a new G.I. Joe video game called Operation Blackout. Looks like it will be released for PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox. The game was up briefly for pre-order but has since been removed from the site. Check out box art which looks like is based on the new Classified action figure line as well as some screenshots below. We will update when more details on this become available.

It's actually stated in the very first post some of the designs seem to be based on Classified figures, however that doesn't mean everything in the game will be made as a figure. There a number of characters like Zartan and BAT and Sci-Fi featured in the game which we can hope will become figures but dont know if they will. Speaking of which here a few more screenshots that have been released for the game.

I really think since this Classified Figures are based on the video game. Hasbro is going to release those characters in the game in future waves...

So, is no one picking up that all the new toy designs are being used in this game and that at the 0:59 mark there's a Lady J moment that's basically giving us our first reveal of what her toy is gonna look like?

Yes, I did pick up on the new toy designs. No I missed Lady Jaye. I did, however, pick up on Storm Shadow.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume Hasbro had a much more polished end-product in mind, but the world situation being what it is, they released what they could. The movie's been delayed, they had to do something to promote the new franchise.

Hope it doesn't bite 'em in the butt.

Did they hire actual voice actors or just get a bunch of interns from around the office?

It looks pretty good to me. I'll probably check it out. The only thing I didn't like was Cobra Commander's voice.

LOL, I thought all the voices were pretty weak. My first thought was if they ever do a new cartoon I hope they dont get these guys to do the voices. I look at it from the stand point if you removed the Joe characters and put generic ones in would this game be interesting. From this I have to say no, but it's still early.
