2022 SDCC G.I. Joe Classified Series Behind the Scenes Panel Announced For July 23

by Jay Cochran
July 9, 2022
For those attending this year's SDCC, mark your calendars for Saturday July 23, at 12:00pm PT, 3:00pm ET for the Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified brand team panel at the convention.

Whether a YO JOE or COBRAAAAA, one can agree that G.I. Joe’s new Classified Series toy line is an absolute hit. Emily and Lenny from the development team discuss never-before shared behind-the-scenes info, offer a sneak peek into the future of Classified Series, and learn more about a huge special project that will be rolled out soon.

It will be held in Room 9. No word if Hasbro has any plans to stream this to folks not attending the convention but we will have coverage of it here on TNI either way.

JayC will not be going this year, but we will have coverage. I believe Shartimus Prime will be there for us.BTW, I actually chatted a little with Lenny Panzica last month. They moved away from the Operation Blackout designs in response to fan feedback. He's said that in a couple youtube videos, as well.

From Operation Blackout I liked Sci-Fi... Not sure if they will release a version of him in the next 2 years!?

Is JayC or anybody here going? A good question will be if the were going to release characters from the video game but at the end they stopped the decision. Examples Storm Shadow and Sci-Fi...?

I have a feeling Hasbro is just going to show whatever hasn't been released yet from Toy Fair and anything mentioned from the last stream... I'll be surprised if they show anything new except for the HISS tank.

I think there's a pretty good chance they'll show a few renders of some of the characters they've been "leaking" for 2023 and an even better chance they'll officially announce and reveal Serpentor.
