The Classified Retro figures prove what I have saying all along, 6" versions of the original 80's figures are what sells the best. Not to mention that they look the best as well. Now if G.I. Joe Classified would just go full Retro...

Besides Cobra Commander, most characters have now gotten a Retro version even if it didn't come in retro packaging. I wish they would drop all the revisionist elements too, but once they finally release a real version of the property's most popular character (and yes, that's CC, not Snake Eyes), then I will be happy.

Ehh, theyre smart enough to have licensed a full 80s retro line to Super 7. Slavishly tying the Classified line to 40 year old designs is like filming a new tv series in 480i resolution.

I ended up preordering 3 big boas. One for my cobra/dreadnok display, one for my work desk (where i have a display of random figures on there) and a 3rd to keep MIB.

Also, since I really dug those vs. Quick Kick pics...I got a hold of the ML comic Shang-Chi lol. Imo, it looks better than the Quick kick figure.

Pretty Awesome wave, already pre-ordered most of them, Techno Viper, Quick Kick, Airbourne, Retro Scarlett and Big Boa, not really that into the Anniversary figures, they are of nobody and cost quite a bit for nobodys, but if ever they go on sale I'd be tempted into buying them, but I have a feeling people are going to hoard them as army builders.

I was going to skip Big Boa until I saw that picture of him fighting Quick Kick. I was just thinking what a ridiculous character Quick Kick was. I mean who would go into combat dressed like that? Maybe once for some weird reason, but not on a regular basis. Not in a modern army.

Then I saw the picture of him fighting Big Boa. That's why you want a guy like Quick Kick on your team. Because they have Big Boa.

Fair point.

Both Big Bad and Ent Earth have the troopers listed at the standard price. Be curious to see if they wind up changing that or not.

I think Hasbro should start making the Retro cards the standard packaging for the line, especially if its gonna be made with more sturdy materials than the Walmart ones.

Normally I like the retro cards as I've got a ton of them for Marvel Legends, but for consistency I'd personally like to see them stick with what they started with for this line. I know that I'm out if they fully switch to retro card packaging. I personally don't want two different types of packaging and those big retro cards take up a lot of space and are harder to protect than the perfectly stackable little plastic rectangles. ? However, I'm also not their core consumer for this line as it's probably 4th/5th down in priority as far as lines that I collect - so they should definitely cater to whomever is buying the most!
