Hasbro Gives A Small Update On The 6" Tron Legacy Figures

by Jay Cochran
February 24, 2026
Last week we told you how when we asked the folks at Hasbro about the current status of their 6" Tron Legacy figures they first showed off last July at SDCC, all they would tell us was that more news was coming soon.

Now Hasbro's Steve Evans has posted an update giving us a little more information on the line. He confirms they are still coming and the figures continue to work their way through the production process. They still aren't ready to put them up for pre-order but suggested when they do go up for pre-order, the window will now be much smaller from when they go up and when they get released.

While Evans didn't specifically say where they would be available for pre-order in this latest update, during SDCC they did say these would be Pulse exclusives. Just to recap, they are doing 6" figures of Kevin Flynn, Clue, Sam Flynn, Quorra and Tron along with a 1/12 scale Lightcycle vehicle from the second movie.

When more updates become available we will be sure to update you here.

Maybe. But the extremely high price of that HasLab suggests the license is expensive.

I just have trouble seeing the Tron license being so expensive when it's never had the mass cultural impact that would warrant it from Disney and they didn't seem to drive up the price of the DST figures they did a while back. The HasLab pricing was totally out of whack given that it didn't even include likeness rights, so I chalk that up more to Hasbro than Disney, but anything is possible...

I'm betting the cost isn't so much the expense of the license as it is the higher cost from a low production run. It's a shame as they really do look like great figures.

Welp... I WAS interested in these, but I can't really justify the price. Does the Light Cycle even light up or anything? I am confused as to what merits that price point.

Tron: Legacy is one of my wife and my favorite movies. We had talked when these were first revealed about buying them to place on top of our movie shelf in the living room. These prices, however, are just too much. If you buy both sets, thats $40 per figure plus another $40 for the cycle.

I cant imagine these moving on Hasbro Pulse. Even with a Pulse sale, they will be too much. Perhaps these will eventually show up at Ollies or Ross.

What a disappointment. Even more disappointing is Hasbro did no hype leading up to basically a Friday surprise drop. Hasbro makes some of the weirdest decisions.

I don't know which price is more ridiculous.
